Nordwind Airlines: Children Flying Alone

What is Nordwind Airlines' (N4) Unaccompanied Minor Service?

Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors, and are accompanied from check in until the child's guardian in the destination claims them. Unaccompanied minors must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure. Unaccompanied minors may only travel in Economy Class, on direct flights and must purchase a full-price ticket. Unaccompanied minors must travel with a document verifying their identity and an agreement of their carrage. On international flights, the minor must also travel with Nordwind Airlines' prior consent and a notarized consent for the carriage by an unofficial international carrier.

What age does my child have to be to qualify as an Unaccompanied Minor?

The service is mandatory for children between 5 and 12 flying domestically, and for children between 6 and 12 flying internationally. The service may be requested for children between 12 and 16.

How can I reserve this service?
