Young children (aged 4-11 years) traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors. Most airlines provide a service to assist these children from their point of departure to their final destination.

What age does my child have to be to qualify as an Unaccompanied Minor?

Any child between the age of 4-11 years must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years old (except for the mother, father or legal guardian). The child and the accompanying person must travel in the same cabin.
